This is Brooklyn in her Judson Cheerleading outfit. We went to San Antonio the day after Thanksgiving to see Britni and Stephani. We went to see Joel (Britni's husband) coach the game at the Alamodome! It was fun fun fun. Steph and Nick bought a home, so we got to help them move in.
This is Heath helping his dad build a car port onto their house. I just relaxed inside and helped Angie cook for Thanksgiving!
Perry, Heath, Buddy and I out behind their house, enjoying the warm weather!

Job Offers
So Heath got a job offer from the company in LA so we are so excited! Other offers might be an option in Salt Lake :) We don't know exactly which one we will be taking, a lot of prayers for us these next couple of weeks, but we will let you all know. We are so excited to go to Texas for thanksgiving! I can't wait to see everyone especially Brooklyn, Jack and baby Bailey :) We are stopping in Utah to see Emily and Annie and their cute families- we are so excited!

Christmas in Texas

So I don't think anyone from my side of the family ever got to see what I did for Christmas last year in Texas. It was so much fun! Angie, (my mother-in-law) decided to have each couple have a day that they planned things- this is a picture of the ginger bread house we made on Steph and Nick's day. It was so much fun. Heath and I did the "Clason" white elephant gift party and we did a Christmas murder mystery. Everyone dressed up in their character and we played. The game was set in the mountains at a ski lodge, so for dinner I made Chilli and cornbread. Britni ended up being the murderer! I am so glad Angie came up with that idea because everyone got to bring a little of their Christmas and share it with everyone.

Los Angeles
So this coming week is going to be pretty exciting for us. Heath is going to LA for a second interview with a Comercial Construction comapany called Hensel Phelps. He was chosen with five other guys from here, and will be leaving on wednesday for three days! That is going to be weird, seeing as we have never spent more than one night away from each other (and my sisters all know how well that went for me) haha. Hensel Phelps has done a lot of major building all over the country. There are students coming from different schools in California, so it should be fun for him. We are so excited that he has this opportunity. It will be great experience for him if he doesn't get it, because second interviews are something you need to keep getting bertter at, and great if he does! They have district offices in California, Colorado, Arizona, Texas... all places we are looking at living so if he does get the job, it won't be long until we could transfer. He has had a lot of other interviews, and more to come -so we have no idea where we will be in January- but that is the exciting part!

Halloween Party
This is the one I carved. We put them all on the front porch for the trick-or-treaters to enjoy!
The boys all carved after we did, they were watching the World Series. Heath's was so cute- two triangle eyes and a one-toothed smile! He did it in like five minutes.
Cat and I admiring my "supposed to be eyeballs"- how freaky!
Everyone brought some food, I made the eyeballs and the cupcakes, with the veggie tray (couldn't just have junk) Cat made dirt dessert and apple cider and Siera brought chips and cookies! We all carved pumpkins and watched Bewitched. It was fun. (Oh yeah, the rooter man was in the bathroom fixing our pipes during the party) hahaha!

I made these eyeballs for our Halloween party. They are doughnut holes dipped in white chocolate with gummy savers and blue m&ms and red food coloring for veins!

CRAZY DAY!
So the other day we had a little plumbing problem in the bathroom, who doesn't though right? Well we thought we had fixed it, but it happened again, so this morning I got on the phone looking for a plumbing company to help us out. Heath and Dan went to work so it was just Cat and I at home this morning. Before I called the plumber, I went upstairs and started a load of laundry and Cat started a load of dishes- then it happened. I was on the phone with the secretary of ROOTERS to the RESCUE and all of a sudden I hear gurgling from the bathroom. While on the phone I run in there and the toilet is rising with bubbles (looked like dish soap) and it was black! Sick, I know, but as I was on the phone I start to plunge, and I am yelling to the lady and laughing so hard because it wasn't working! She said "keep going keep going!" I was laughing so hard, I was so embarrassed! I was like "My husband isn't home and I need help!" Well she said she would send someone over as soon as she could and they would take care of it. Oh yeah, the wax seal on the toilet is totally not working and water started to flood the bathroom. The tub is now full of water, the plumber still isn't here, and we had to turn the water off today so no showers or bathroom breaks. Anyway, gotta laugh at the things that happen to people. I just hope they come before everyone comes over tonight for my Halloween party! Oh man!

Surf's Up
Last night Heath and I watched the new movie Surf's Up, you know the one about the Penguins? It was really funny! Watched it with our friends Josh and Siera. There are so many movies that we haven't seen and are waiting to come out on video! Anyway, it was funny. You should all see it if you haven't. One we did see in the theatres not too long ago was No Reservations. That was so good! I love movies like that, ones that make you laugh and cry. It snowed again today, well first it was sunny so we went to the library in just a light sweater but of course, it started to hail along with thunder a lightening, then it stopped and was sunny again. But, as I was reading in my Medical Law book, I noticed a beautiful falling of white snow, that covered the ground and now it is sunny again. Haha that is Rexburg for you!

Yes that is our white rental truck literally 5 feet from those buffalo! :)
Yellowstone is so beautiful. Heath's parents came up this summer and we went camping for a few days. Yes, I was so scared because guess what? -The best sight to see bears was where we were camping!!! Oh well, it was still a lot of fun. We went on a few hikes, saw elk, buffalo, a moose, a bald eagle, no bears, (thank heavens because I am terrified of them) but everyone else wanted to see them so I felt bad that we didn't, a cyote, all sorts of beautiful creatures. We were so happy that Angie and Perry could come up, we took them rafting in Jackson too, they loved it. (Texas water is a little warmer though).SNOW DAY

We had an amazing snow day on conference weekend! Heath and I had a snowball fight- Josh (Heath's good friend) andHeath built a HUGE snowman. That was a lot of fun. Some people down the street built a huge penguin out of snow, it was incredible! I didn't get a picture though :( This week it was about 70 outside, so all the snow melted, but there is nothing better than the first snow in Rexburg and the LAST! Heath getting ready to pack a gigantic snowball to nail me in the back! Haha
