Christmas in Texas

So I don't think anyone from my side of the family ever got to see what I did for Christmas last year in Texas. It was so much fun! Angie, (my mother-in-law) decided to have each couple have a day that they planned things- this is a picture of the ginger bread house we made on Steph and Nick's day. It was so much fun. Heath and I did the "Clason" white elephant gift party and we did a Christmas murder mystery. Everyone dressed up in their character and we played. The game was set in the mountains at a ski lodge, so for dinner I made Chilli and cornbread. Britni ended up being the murderer! I am so glad Angie came up with that idea because everyone got to bring a little of their Christmas and share it with everyone.

We are going to miss you guys so much this year! But it makes it exciting to think about next year! You didn't tell everyone that your house took 1st place! All of my family is so creative! or at least, they married someone with creativity! Good strategy!
