Apparently it is spring. That is what the calendar tells me at least. Hmmm, I wonder why then has it just snowed, our why I am still wearing a coat when I go outside? When I grew up, and spring came, there were endless amounts of gorgeous flowers in my parent's yard, the grass was a dark soft green, and the weather was just perfect-no need to be hot (which I find very uncomfortable, when there is no way to cool myself down) and no need to be cold. Being Oregon, it would rain sometimes, but when it stopped you could smell that crisp and sweet sent of the earth and everything would glisten in the sunlight afterwards. Spring meant flowers, birds singing, garden planting, sports, intense house cleaning with mom ("Time to get rid of stuff. If you haven't used it in six months, throw it away"). I love home in the spring; who wouldn't love perfection?

Spring? Are you here yet?

I miss the Oregon springs! I have had one in 9 years! I am tired of the cold and snow. I just want it to be warm enough for Claire to play outside!
I love spring too, sometimes it seems we just skip right over spring and jump right into summer. It makes me sad at times and a little uncomfortable as well, especially being pregnant.
ya, no spring here either. It's already summer. Asher says multiple times a day "it's a beautiful day" and I think that's after an oregon wither. SUn shining means "beautiful day". I'm like you and still like a good raign every now and then just cuz of the crisp air afterwards.
